Adele regains pole position in the Irish album charts
25 is back at the summit this week
Adele is once again at the top of the Irish album charts, as 25 returns to its longtime place at the peak.
The mega-selling Ms Adkins was ousted from the summit by Justin Bieber before Christmas, while David Bowie's Blackstar had sat on top for a fortnight following his death; now, though, her third LP has once again outsold the challengers.
Bieber's Purpose is at No. 2, while the next two spots are filled by the sadly departed Starman. Ed Sheeran's perennially popular x sits at No. 5, while other mainstays including Nathan Carter, One Direction and Little Mix stay inside the top ten.
The week's highest new entry is Night Thoughts by Suede, which reaches No. 14.
