The movie will feature a 12-year-old boy using elements of fantasy to cope with his ill mother and bullying classmates.
A new fantasy film is being released based on the best-selling childhood novel, A Monster Calls.
Written by Patrick Ness, the film adaption is directed by Juan Antonio Bayona and will star Lewis MacDougall, Felicity Jones, Toby Kebbell, Liam Neeson, and Sigourney Weaver.
The story will detail a 12-year-old boy who feels as although he is invisible. In order to cope with his ill mother and bullying classmates, 12-year-old Conor immerses himself in a fantasy world of magical creatures and monsters. Conor will learn a number of life lessons about hope and faith, courage and loss.
A Monster Calls is scheduled to released October 2016.
