The position is open to replace Chris Evans who failed so dismally and 50 Cent thinks he is the man for the job.
Speaking to the Daily Star, 50 Cent was the man to blow his own trumpet stating "I could save that show for sure".
After a mere one season in the driving seat, radio presenter Chris Evans pulled out. With speculation rampant as to who could possibly replace Evans, 50 Cent emerges as the unlikely fan of the driving show. “I would love to work on Top Gear, I could save that show for sure, but it would cost them,” he boasted to the Daily Star. “There ain’t a car I haven’t owned over the years, my car collection is as good as anybody’s out there.”
50 Cent seemed quite the fan as he commended Top Gear on being one of the world's most iconic shows but admitted that the show hasn't quite been the same since the reboot occurred. "The show since the old team left has been unrecognisable and if it don’t get back to where it should be soon then it may never recover,” the 41 year old rapper warned.
Although 50 Cent has made his pitch for the post, the BBC has confirmed that Season 2 is unlikely to see any major changes to the line up going forward. We're sure that 50 Cent would attest to it being their loss.
